BECOME A MEMBER

    Are you recognized by Govt. of India / State Tourism Department ?
    Are you a member of any Hotel Federation ?
    Recognised by the Department of tourism ?
    Any other category ( see Guidelines )

    MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURE

    The membership of the GTUC Federation shall be open to organizations of good professional reputation and standing who have been connected with tourism and / or travel industry for at least one year. All applications for membership must be made on the prescribed form and must be proposed by    a member of the GTUC Federation The applications for membership shall be considered by the Managing Committee in a duly convened meeting and approved by a majority of two third of the members present.

    MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY

    The membership of the association shall be composed of

    • Prime Membership  (b) Elite Membership (c) Super Elite Membership  (d) Honorary Members

    The Managing Committee may at any time create different classes of members and may provide for entrance fees and subscriptions and define their respective rights and privileges. The Managing Committee shall have power to dispense with the payment of the entrance fee/membership fee, if they deem fit. The decision of the Managing committee will be final in all cases.

    Prime Membership  –GTUC FEDERATION has formed various whatapp groups and offering the opportunity to members to post their products in these. The prime member can post only in one group one post daily with the condition that the member can not post Greetings/wishes/good morning/good night massages and no posting between 10 pm to 6 am.     

    Elite Membership : GTUC FEDERATION has formed various whatapp groups and offering the opportunity to members to post their products in these. The Elite member can post only in 5 whatsapp  groups means 1 post in 5 groups daily with the condition that the member can not post Greetings/wishes/good morning/good night massages and no posting between 10 pm to 6 am.     

    Super Elite Membership  : GTUC FEDERATION has formed various whatapp groups and offering the opportunity to members to post their products in these. The Elite member can post only in 15 whatsapp  groups means 1 post in 15 groups daily  with the condition that the member can not post Greetings/wishes/good morning/good night massages and no posting between 10 pm to 6 am.    

    Honorary Members: The Managing Committee may invite persons who are Hall of Fame Awardees and distinguished society members and / or who have distinguished themselves by the services to the services to the tourism and Travel Industry in the National or International field to become Honorary Members of the Association. Such members will be invited to the association by the unanimous vote of all the members of the Managing Committee.

    TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

    1. A member may resign from membership of the GTUC Federation and on acceptance of his resignation by the Managing Committee; he shall cease to be a member.
    2. The annual subscription of member shall become due on 1st April of each year. If the subscription is not paid within 60 days from the 1st April of each year, the member will be deemed to be a defaulter. If any member fails to pay his subscription beyond the period of 60 days from 1st April of each year, the Secretary shall issue a notice calling for payment through certified post of such dues within 30 days and if payment is not made within the said 30 days from the date of receipts of the notice, the member shall cease to be a member of the GTUC Federation.
    3. A member who causes damage or prejudice to the Association or who does not comply with the rules and regulations of the GTUC Federation may be expelled from membership of the Association by a resolution of the Managing committee.

     

    • The Managing committee may be issued a show-cause notice and may subsequently be expelled/ suspended on account of disciplinary action taken by the GTUC Federation on unethical business practice, any act against the interests of the Association. Writing, posting, forwarding any post that defame, malign, damage the image of the Association/ its managing Committee, on any social, print media including Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram etc. Noncompliance of any of the directions of the Managing Committee. Writing any circular, article, comment through letter/ email/ circular to the Members/s or managing committee of the Association, that contain derogatory, abusive, insulting and defamatory language about the Association, its Executive Committee or the members. Member being declared Proclaimed Offender or Undercharged insolvent or bankrupt convicted any criminal case by court. Unruly behavior or activity of the Member or managing committee during any meeting/ conference/ conclave/ FAM / event/convention etc. of the GTUC Federation, Any other act of the Member or Association official that may cause financial loss/ disrepute/ administrative difficulties in carrying out aims and objects of the Federation. Any act of the member or EC official disregarding/ violating the terms and conditions/procedures/Rules and Regulations contained in MOA and Bye laws of the Association.
